NCSSM Hurricane Helene Resources & Support Opportunities
The Faculty and Staff Senates of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics extend our deepest sympathies to all those affected by Hurricane Helene. Our hearts go out to the communities devastated by this natural disaster in Western North Carolina, including NCSSM Morganton, Western Carolina University, Appalachian State University, and UNC Asheville.
To our students, fellow staff, and faculty impacted, we stand with you during this challenging time. The loss of homes, power, and necessities is profound, and we recognize the difficulties you face in the storm's aftermath. Please know that you are not alone; the entire NCSSM community is here to support you.
We are committed to providing assistance and resources to help our NCSSM family recover and rebuild. If you are looking for ways to help or donate please see a list of opportunities from NCSSM and the UNC System below.
